In my last post, I mentioned a book idea. After chatting with an author tonight (thank you Suzie!) I realize that I may have 2-3 or more book ideas up there floating around!
I still desperately want to share others’ stories. To hold on to that history before it is gone. The biggest issue here seems to be that I have no idea how to find these stories. Perhaps it will take years, but I do so feel the pressure to hurry before they are lost.
I also think I have several ideas for fiction, and I started writing again tonight! It has been years since I really wrote. I am a different person now than I was when I started paranormal fiction many years ago and I suspect those 3 novels will never be finished. It is a lot of wasted time, but I am certain I am not the first person to ever have this happen to.
So I am inspired! 🙂 I will leave you with and unedited snippet. Again, not my image, just a part of my inspiration. Good night and God Bless.
The screen door had seen better years. The rickety frame bore chipped white paint and nicked edges proudly, while the mesh held a light patina of rust woven along carefully through the wire.
Still, Clara gazed out to the gray morning. In the green pasture, soft early fog drifted like feathers in a light breeze around the legs and swishing tails of the horses who were already enjoying the freshly dew laden grass. Her gaze did not stop there, perhaps it stopped no where at all.
By the way, here is Suzie’s page on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/pages/Echoes-Of-Time/173729432822112 . I will be ordering an autographed copy of her book very soon!
