The more I look into it, the more I feel Waldorf inspired learning deserves a space in our home. Especially for Gabriel. I think the structure and peacefulness of the approach is what he needs! For now, I am planning silk dyeing and acorn painting!! And I planned Our Rhythm this morning. Now if we can just incorporate it!
I just ADORE this silk! It is supposed to resemble Omega/Swan Nebula as captured by the Hubble telescope. I know my dyeing won’t be quite that lovely, but I am excited to try my hand at it!
And these books are sitting in my Amazon cart! 🙂
And Pinning away, of course! http://www.pinterest.com/dandeerose/waldorf/
In a couple of weeks I am meeting with a few local mom friends to look at some curriculum, too.
Any Waldorf experience out there? In truth, I hope this will help Gabriel. Breathe in. Breathe out.
We got out the watercolors today! Though I couldn’t find my pad of watercolor paper. 😦 I showed the kids how to blend colors. (BTW, I am SOOO ready for new camera batteries) Liquid watercolors will be so nice. Adding those to my list for next school year.
Isabelle and I decided to have a short Summer break, so we can have longer breaks during Spring and Fall. So next week is our last week for this school year, but we start again July 7 for 2014- 2015. What does your schedule look like?
Have a Blessed Day!!!
